My favourite piece of technology It's hard to me choose only one piece of technology because i use many devices during the day, but i can't imagine my life without computer and cellphone, definitely they are my favourite pieces of technology. I remember when i was a child at the age of 10 my parents gave me my first computer and at the age of 12 my first cellphone, i am very exited. I use the computer every day to do my homework, and i use my cellphone to do many things for example call my family, talk with my friends, surf the internet and check my social network. I use all day my cellphone even when should have it tour off. I like these devices because i can be informed. My life without cellphone or computer would be difficult and less comfortable, i hope that never happens.

Why did i choose my career? Important and difficult question because it’s what i’ll be working for the rest of my life and what being very young determines your future. When i was a child i remember that i received books as a gift, toy medical kits, magnifying glass because i liked to see ant walk among other things. That’s why i wanted to be a doctor, a veterinarian or a researcher. In high school i’m very interested in science, biology and chemistry mainly, i remember that with my teacher we listened to scientific talks and made us do research projects, enjoyed it. After the psu my options were biochemistry, medical technology and chemistry and pharmacy. Finally i decided on the last one because i’m interested his labord field. Studying chemistry and pharmacy at the University of Chile has been a difficult process, a lot to study, and difficult subjects, but my motivation is to help people. In the future I would like to work in laboratories, or in clinical pharmacy dire

My name is Javiera Vergara. I´am 20 years old and i was born in Talca, seventh region of this country. My mother is from Talca and my father is from Santiago, they married very young and decided to live in Talca because it’s a quiet town. I have a brother, he is 12 years old, and he is called Javier, i think my parents really liked the name. I studied in Liceo Abate Molina of Talca, and the last year i travel to Santiago to study chemistry and pharmacy in the University of Chile. I always wanted to study something related to science and health. I love the music, play guitar, read and see new places because of it i enjoy Santiago. It’s hard to live in another city, sometimes i miss my family and friends but here i know nice people and learned a lot from my career and profession. Hill of the virgin, Talca
